Capri Island, Italy

Capri  is an island situated in the Tyrrhenian Sea off the Sorrentine Peninsula on the south side of the Gulf of Naples in the Campania region of Italy. The main town is located on the island sharing the same name as Capri. It is twinned with Crosby, Merseyside, United Kingdom. Capri is  a region which has an experience of history, nature, worldliness, culture and events that daily blend together and gets the spirit of the island alive which is unique all over the word. This island is very luxuriant, extraordinarily in its own ways with a mild climate to relax.
Travelling to Capri Island is a special feature of a Naples Coast kind of vacation. This island was famous for its Roman Emperor, who were rich and famous. The people visiting Capri have to travel by boat till Marina Grande which is the island’ s main harbor port. There are frequent ferries and hydrofoils from the city of Naples and from Sorrento on the Amalfi Coast where as there are less ferries fro, Posintano  on the Amalfi Coast and the island of Ischia. This island is scattered with  numerous beaches and the two towns that exist are Capri and Anacapri which is famous for lemons birds and variety of flowers.

The best time to visit Capri is as a day trip if you are nearby the island but would preferably be better if visited in mornings  and little late evenings when the hoards of day tourists aren’t there. Springs are the best time to visit  this location  even though it won’t make much of a difference in terms of temperature and climate situations because the island’s moderate temperature makes it a  year round destination.
